This course teaches every step for obtaining a facebow transfer, a wax bite registration, and then mounting models on a Panadent articulator. Each step is illustrated with video and described with narration. It is suitable for individuals who have never done a facebow transfer or mounted models on an articulator.

Goal

The goal of this course is to train the individual in the procedures for obtaining a facebow transfer, producing a wax bite registration, and then mounting models on a Panadent articulator.

This course was a collaboration among Dr. John Haze, faculty, at the New York College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, New York City, New York, Dr. Jeff Symonds, orthodontist, Anchorage, Alaska, and Terri Young, orthodontic lab technician, Anchorage, Alaska. Panadent Corporation and Great Lakes Orthodontics also participated in the collaboration. Dr. Rebecca Poling was the Editor for the course.
