This course teaches the procedures for conducting a New Patient Exam. The actual forms used in the practice may differ from those illustrated in this course, but the general procedures used in most practices are those presented in this course. This course assumes that the New Patient Exam is done with the help of a New Patient Coordinator. It also assumes the student is familiar with the anatomy of the mouth and with dental relationships.
