Orthodontist Course:
Bracket Placement and Final Positioning Course
This course covers tooth landmarks that may be used when positioning brackets during a direct bonding. These principles are similar to those used for positioning brackets in indirect bonding. Use of these principles by the doctor and all team members during direct bonding standardizes desired bracket positions so that all team members will “see” when a bracket is not in position and may need to be repositioned for more efficient treatment.
The goal of this course is to help the clinical team accomplish more accurate bracket placement during direct bonding.
This course was written with the help of 3M Unitek, Ormco, Reliance Orthodontics, American Orthodontics, GAC Orthodontics, and several university orthodontic faculty, researchers, and practitioners. Dr. Rebecca Poling was the Editor of this collaboration.
